Great Cooling Pad

Well this works pretty well for my needs. It keeps my laptop cool which is important to me. I'm disabled and stuck at home a lot so I use my laptop for hours at a time. It works better if you use the tabs to raise it on an incline. Speaking of which...The only thing I don't like about this cooler are the tabs on the bottom to raise it up. They're too thin and flimsy. As soon as I saw them when I took it out of the box I thought it was only a matter of time till one or both of them snapped off and I was right. The left one snapped off a couple days ago so I took a star off for that. The hub is useful if you're short on usb slots. I like to leave my wireless mouse dongle plugged into it. It comes with its own power cord if you need the extra power to use the hub for an external hard drive. Of course if you don't need that you can just power it with the usb cord. The fans are pretty quiet which is a nice change from my CM Storm. I have one that still works but the fans were so noisy which was really getting on my nerves and the hub broke anyway so that's what led me to purchase this. Overall, this works very well and I hope it lasts. I've had it for a month now so far. I'd be pretty inclined to buy one of these again in the future if needed since the flimsy tabs were the only problem I've encountered thus far.

an OK cooling pad

This notebook cooler is very quiet and cools very well. The construction is fairly good with the exception of the tabs that fold out for the feet. They're too thin and flimsy. As long as you leave it set up, they work as intended but I think If you move it around or pack it up, you will break them off.
The hub is useful if you're short on usb slots and it takes one of your lap top slots to power the pad up if your not using the power supply (which is supplied). The power supply is needed if your planning to use the usb to power up externals that take up a lot of power. The main problem with the hub is that it just powers up things, it does not allow me to control the items, such as my mouse, kind of defeats the purpose.
I have been using a zalman lap top cooler that I am very happy with but I bought a new laptop backpack and it would not fit in it, so I purchased this one to fit in it.
The service department is so so as I have had a question and a JO for about a week now and I have had no response.
If all you need is usb ports to charge and a cooler and in a smaller size, this is good. If your looking for a true usb hub, this is not this not the item

So far, so good

My laptop kept overheating and shutting down, especially when playing movies. Started using this cooler and problem went away! Very pleased.
